Frequently Asked Questions
What can this kit run?
This kit charges a battery rather than storing energy itself. The 160W array makes about 0.6kWh on a clear day, so what it runs depends on the battery and inverter you pair with it.
Do I need anything else?
A battery, and an inverter if you want 120V AC. The panel, controller, cables, fuses and brackets are included. We can recommend a matching battery on 1-332-291-6885.
Can I expand it later?
Yes. You can add panels within the charge controller's input limit. Keep added panels the same model where possible — mismatched panels in one string pull the whole string down to the weakest one.
