Can I use this on both AC and DC circuits?
Check the rated voltage row in the specifications: AC 90–400V; DC 12–400V. DC and AC ratings are different, and a DC-only device must not be used on an AC circuit.
Can it be installed outdoors?
Yes — it is rated IP65 Exterior / IP20 Interior. Mount it so water drains away from the enclosure and keep glands facing down.
