Product Information
30A MPPT Solar Charge Controller for Flush-Mount RV and Van Installs
An MPPT controller tracks the array's maximum power point and converts the surplus voltage into charging current, so it harvests more than a PWM unit from the same panels — most noticeably in cold or low light, and whenever panel voltage sits well above battery voltage.
Keep the array within 500W(12V)/1000W(24V).
Rated IP43. UL1741, CE, EMC, FCC, RoHS. Mount it close to the battery on a vertical surface with airflow around the heatsink, and wire battery first, then panels.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many panels can I connect?
Keep the array within 500W(12V)/1000W(24V). Watts alone are not the whole story — the panels' combined open-circuit voltage must also stay under the controller's input limit.
MPPT or PWM — which do I need?
MPPT harvests more, especially when panel voltage is well above battery voltage or in cold and low light, and it is the better choice for larger or 24V arrays. PWM costs less and suits small systems where panel and battery voltage are closely matched. This unit is MPPT.
Which batteries does it charge?
Check the battery types listed in the specifications and set the matching profile before first charge.
