Can I use this on both AC and DC circuits?
Check the rated voltage row in the specifications: 1500V. DC and AC ratings are different, and a DC-only device must not be used on an AC circuit.
Can it be installed outdoors?
Yes — it is rated IP66NW. Mount it so water drains away from the enclosure and keep glands facing down.
