Frequently Asked Questions
What size breaker or switch do I need?
Pick a rating above the maximum current of the circuit, with headroom. Sizing depends on your array, inverter and cable gauge — call us on 1-332-291-6885 and we will size it with you.
Can I use this on both AC and DC circuits?
Check the rated voltage row in the specifications: 30VDC, 48VDC. DC and AC ratings are different, and a DC-only device must not be used on an AC circuit.
Can it be installed outdoors?
Check the protection rating in the specifications before mounting it in an exposed position.
